The chronological beginning

This blog won’t let us go all the way back to the 50s, when this really started, so we are denied the thorough anacronism for now. So we’re using the earliest-available date with some significance. Sixteen years to the day after the decision in Brown vs. the Board of Education. This is when people took sides. This is the event that Mississippi responded to with the Sovereignty Commission. This was the day my family set something–and I am going to find out what–in motion.
